Party Rental FAQ
Can a tent be installed on pavement, driveway, or asphalt? The short answer is no. A pole tent can be installed on asphalt, but it will leave holes where the stakes are drilled in to the ground. A pole tent can not be installed on concrete at all. If you need a tent on a concrete driveway, or asphalt and you don't want holes left in it, then you will need to rent a frame tent instead. Unfortunately, we do not have frame tents in stock at this time.

Ensure your land is large enough to fit the tent. While most tents are 20ft wide, an additional 5 feet in width is needed to install stakes. 20ft is much larger than most people estimate, so the best way to determine is to measure yourself. If you cannot measure, we can come out to measure the yard for you free of charge, just be sure to ask us.

Side walls are a great rental item that protect from rain blowing in from wind and add privacy. If you only want them to protect from rain, then we can drop them off with your package and we can show you how to easily clip them on when needed.

Book as early as possible after you determine the date of your event. In the rental industry, we often book out months in advance, and some people will book their event an entire year in advance to lock down the rental.

We will contact you the week prior to your event to schedule a time to install the tent. Tent setups usually occur on Thur/Fri or Sat morning before your event.

We come back to remove the tent on Sun/Mon/Tue or Wed depending on the day of your event. We do not need to meet with anybody during the takedown.
If desired, full payment can be made in advance of the rental. Simply contact us and we will send you an invoice that can be paid online with card. In person payments can be made with cash, check, or card on the day of the setup. If writing checks, please make out to "Party Preppers".
